We value and prioritize environmental sustainability in our work; we avoid trends and faddish designs, preserve existing spaces and architectural details, and choose vintage pieces and sustainably-sourced materials. Design should contribute to people and then planet.

Bachman Brown Clem
Born in Paris, Texas, Bachman studied architectural and art history and has practiced interior design for 20 years. He founded BBD in 2008 to create personal, timeless, and lasting interiors that reflect how his clients want to live today. His projects include residential and commercial spaces, including private houses and estates, apartments, private offices, and show houses. He has lived in London, Santa Fe, and New York, which has enriched his knowledge of the industry. He brings an interest in design that is highly refined but never too studied, luxurious but never fussy.
His work has been published in the Wall Street Journal, Anthology, New York Magazine, Aspire Design + Home, Archdigest.com, and ELLE Décor.
Bachman lives and works in New York City and the Hudson Valley.
